Shop attached to Garage

This is an interior look at the shop that is on the south side of the garage. The walls and ceiling have been insulated and drywalled. This picture was taken from the doorway looking into the shop. The vertical hole by the side window is an opening for a solar heater.

This picture is looking back towards the door. The bench on the left is built into the wall.

Yard Pictures

Here's a look at the garden area behind the garage. There are 3 main gardening beds that are about 3'x 22' long. These beds have been dug down 24" and are designed like raised gardening beds. If you never walk on them you'll never have to till them! There are 3' walking paths between them and they are enclosed with cedar timbers. There are also 2 - 20' strawberry rows and one 15' row of raspberries with plenty of room for expansion. We put down black plastic and mulch to keep the weeding between beds to a minimum.

Here's the finished garden area, Summer 2005, and the pole beans and squash we grew in the main beds.

This is the north side of the house, summer 2006, the hostas are much bigger and the perennial grasses are getting taller every year!

This picture is of the raspberries. We planted them summer 2006, so they should do well this year.

2nd Floor Craft Area

Here's a look into the actual craft area on the 2nd floor. There are 3 overhead lights in this area and several outlets! I could run a couple of sewing machines and a serger on the long wall and each would have it's own outlet! The brown door at the end leads to an attic access/storage space. This picture really only shows half of the room.

Here's the other half of the craft area!

This picture shows the stairwell to the 2nd floor and the new vinyl replacement windows on the east side. This floor gets great morning sunlight, and the tree in the backyard keeps it cool in the summer.

Main Floor Bedrooms

This bedroom is obviously decorated for our daughter! The bedroom is 11'x 12' with a walk in closet. The windows in this room face north.

This bedroom is our son's. The bedroom is 10'x 12' with a smaller walk-in closet. Both windows in this room are EnergyStar vinyl replacement windows.

Both of these bedrooms have ceiling fans.

An Inside Look

Here's some photos of our house. The first picture is the media room. This room is located on the south side of the house. With windows on three sides and French doors to the rest of the house.

This is taken looking west from the Kitchen to the Living area. The windows are at the front of the house. The door seen in the picture goes to the entryway and the front door.

This picture is also looking west into the Living area

This picture is looking east from the Living area towards the Kitchen.
